Taster Sessions

We regularly run taster sessions that give you an opportunity to find out more about Matrix College. The sessions run for three hours.

Saturday 2nd February 10 - 1pm Ipswich
Saturday 9th February 10 - 1pm Wymondham
Saturday 9th March 10 - 1pm Wymondham
Friday 5th April 6 - 9pm Wymondham
Saturday 25th May 10 - 1pm Ipswich

To apply for the Matrix BSc Integrative Counselling course we require:

  • A completed application form and declaration form
  • APL information if required
  • Two references
  • A head and shoulders photograph
  • Scanned copy of highest educational award certificate

Applicants to Year 2 or 3 will be required to bring certificates, evidence of client work/previous therapy with them if invited to interview. Please do not send them with your application.

We will acknowledge receipt of your application and, provided you meet the basic entry requirements, will invite you to attend an interview.

Applicants will usually be notified of the outcome of their interview by email within two weeks.

To secure a place we require a £500 deposit and a signed student contract.

English language requirements

If English is not your first language we accept a range of English tests to check language proficiency. You must have taken the test within the last two years.

We accept:

  • IELTS with minimum grade 6.0 (with 5.5 in all components)
  • Cambridge Proficiency Certificate with minimum grade C
  • Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English with minimum grade B
